BB creams

BB creams, what's all the hype about!?!
BB creams ( beauty balm or blemish balm) was on the Asia market for a while and is hitting the US cosmetics industry like crazy.
 what are BB creams?
it is a multi-purpose cream that acts as a primer, foundation, tinted moisturizer, sun protector( most have a spf), and  moisturizer. it gives a sheer to medium coverage. perfect for girls who don't like to wear foundation.
only problem with bb creams since there are new to the market not much cosmetics companies have shades for dark skin :(   But here are a few options

Colour Blocking

Put away that boring plain outfit and add some colour to your life. colour blocking style!!!!
Here's a fool proof guide to colour blocking:
for the not so brave, use acessories to give your oufit a pop of colour, as shown below

for  the risk takers, consider the colour wheel

when dealing with two or more colours, we either go with complementary  or analogous colours.
Finding complementary colours is easy , say we have a nice blue pants or skirts the complementary colour is orange. just trace your finger on directly across the circle to the opposite portion of the wheel. eg green  to red, violet to yellow etc. heres a ouftit idea

finding analogous colours, using the colour wheel choose a colour, using that colour selected choose a colour from the right or left, that's your analogous colour. simple right!!! eg orange and red violet. here's an outfit idea

  • always keep jewelry do a minimum
  • always keep accessories neutral (ie black, nude, grey), don't want  to look like u belong to the circus
  • choose colours of the same intensity ( ie don't mix a bright blue with a pastel orange)
  • don't go crazy with makeup
